About Us

“More than just a frame shop…”

In 1978, Bruce Wilson started his journey as a Custom Picture Framer. His love for art has fueled has passion for picture frames which is what he has spent the last 40 years building. Accompanied by his wife, Jackie, of 38 years, the two have built the business from the ground up.

By the May of 1981, Bruce and Jackie opened their first retail shop in Charlotte called, “Art Aspects”, sixteen years later the Wilson’s expanded to a second location in Historic Downtown Salisbury. In 1998, they began the sale of the Charlotte location, creating Fine Frame Gallery in Salisbury where they now continue helping artists and collectors in all their framing needs.

Fine Frame Gallery is more than a gallery or a frame shop. We offer unique custom designs, Ready-Made frames you can walk out with, and mats for your frames. Our Frame Gallery includes a large selection of moldings ranging from traditional to contemporary and all things in between conservation framing, aluminum sectional, volume discounts, mirrors, shadow boxes, and more.

Along with our extensive collection of framing options, we also serve as an art gallery. We showcase and feature original art work by local and regional artists. Our collection of artwork ranges from sculptures to oil paintings and watercolors.

Picture frames make the perfect gifts and we are reasonably priced. We offer additional framing accessories like picture lights and easels.
